How Often Should I Change My Baby's Diaper?

Changing your baby's diapers regularly is important. Urine combined with the bacteria in faeces can make skin sore and lead to diaper rash. You should expect to change your baby's diaper before or after every feed, plus when he/she has pooped.

Infants poo several times a day, and pee every one to three hours. Wetness doesn't bother most babies so don't expect her to cry or show discomfort every time she needs changing. Disposables absorb moisture particularly well, so you may not always be able to gauge their wetness until they're saturated. To avoid this problem, check for wetness every couple of hours.
